Chinese Glass Bottle Art
Some of China’s most famous art goes miniature when the artists that produce these exquisite pieces decide to paint a new design. Using photos of the originals, the artists painstakingly recreate the image in layers of colour on the inside of the bottle, using special brushes to navigate the narrow entry neck. Evidence of their efforts can sometimes be seen with small drag marks left on the inside of the bottle neck.
Very few are sold as export and we are proud to present this small range. The bottles make great gifts or maybe a great personal collection.
These items are decorative only and should not be used to hold fluids. The shape and size of these delightful little bottles is almost a work of art in itself. The Chinese have taken the bottle one step further with the delightful images painted inside.
