The miracle of one small moth worm provides us with some of the most fashionable cloth available, silk. Distinctly Asian, silk is used in many and varying ways. The traditionally cottage industry of silk embroidery and silk art in our range comes from Nanjing. The pieces of work, each hand embroidered have been selected for their distinctive Chinese Cultural nature. We have chosen Chinese culture over modern design to reflect the origin of the art style. The pieces on offer feature, dragons, native birds and flowers and scenes from a time long gone in China. The framing allows an ideal modern vessel for display rather than the more traditional style yet still allows for the magnificence of the art to be seen. The Dragon & Phoenix are special characters in Chinese culture and together symbolise the harmony of that exists in nature when in balance.
